Today was the second match that we had since our company participated in an inter-bank soccer league, and its the second time I played soccer since 12 years ago. Yes, friends who know me well enough maybe asking '...Yuan Sheng playing soccer...'? Well, I did play soccer before back in Secondary school when I was in SJAB but the experience was petrifying, which kinda killed my interest in the sport. Imagine a then small size me pitching my luck against the bigger upper secondary boys. They were rough at tackling, ramming the ball any chance they have while not forgetting their routine of fists punching and elbow nudging. I was practically a piece of fresh meat on the field, ready to be devour by the ball-hungry mob.
A photo of me back in SJAB, I don't think its easy for anyone to locate me... ha ha:

Back to the topic of company soccer league... Given an option, I would have gave it a miss but this time round I don't have much choice as there weren't enough guys in the office since most of my colleagues are overseas on project. The experience this time round wasn't that bad but I don't think I was contributing at all other than being a hindrance or an obstacle on the ground.
Overall the match was pretty acceptable (Although I believe it would have been much better if I was a spectator or a supporter... ha ha.), and much of the credits have to go to Vincent. For his initiative to sign us up and to organize each match on top his busy schedule. Each match was like a company-bonding session which I really appreciated. =D
After the match, Vincent was jio-ing us to join him and Emily to their friend's Hens night. Expecting Michael and Bruno to be going also, I agreed to follow suit only to realize that only Vincent, Emily and Maha was there... but it turned out to be a really enjoyable night.
MOS was surprisingly nice... and fun! It was my first time there but since it was a private function, I was in the 'Red Room' which their friend has booked for the night. The private room has its own mini counter where you can choose to play any songs that is available and it comes with a miniature stage for people to dance. I took a small tour inside MOS and I really enjoyed the music and the crowd and would definitely love to explore other areas in MOS again. (; I wouldn't compare MOS with Double O and St James as the age group of the crowd is different and so is the music, but I kinda feel the gers in Double O wins hands down.
Their friends is amazingly friendly and 'high', ha ha. There was a really pretty ger (correction... several) that night who happened to be a model also and Vincent as always was trying to hook me up with her, but I was focusing my attention on another one... opps, ha ha. There was however something interesting in the model though as she was drinking only pure water throughout the night.
I was really embarrassed as all the drinks were bought by Vincent and Maha. They ordered a total of 4 jugs with several cups of gin tonic. I was practically gulping them down... by the time I finished my countless glass of alcohol and my 3rd puff, I was practically stoning on the couch.
Really had a lot of fun that night, and hopefully we will be able to do that again...! (:
